Time: 6:00 p.m.-7:30 p.m.
Location: East High School, 1924 Van Brunt Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64127
On Wednesday, Dec. 5, East High School students will host a “student-made, student-run” mayoral candidate forum.
The students have invited the nine candidates who have publicly announced that they are running in the April 2, 2019, election for mayor of Kansas City, Mo. Eight of the nine candidates have confirmed they will be attending.
Students have worked with their instructors to craft questions related to the issues they face, including: violence in our community and the funding of our schools.
This is a first for East High School. Students and staff are excited to invite members of the media and the community to attend this event.
This event is free and open to the public.
