The Waldo Tower Neighborhood Association (WTNA) general meeting recording from Saturday, September 10, in person at the Waldo Branch of the Kansas City Public Library.
Special guests include Volunteer Manager Haley Walker Rees with Lead to Read KC, and members from the local Girl Scout troop will report on recent projects to complete their Bronze Award (one of the highest awards in Girl Scouts!). The girl scouts will present what they learned and showcase an example of sustainable outdoor cat houses they built, which will be donated to KC Pet Project for distribution to the community.
Also, get a snapshot of upcoming events, announcements and neighborhood news! Learn about WTNA finances from Finance Director Elizabeth Hollins, and all WTNA members in good standing who attend will be able to vote for WTNA officers.
Our next general meeting will be on Saturday, November 12th at 10am in the Waldo Public Library.
