KC Can Compost's Green Core Training offers valuable knowledge and skills applicable to green employment and community development. The next class begins October 20th at the Robert J. Mohart Multipurpose Center at 3200 Wayne Ave.

This five-week program combines workplace readiness and green jobs training.
Participants learn about 100 different green jobs, earn stipends, and complete pre-apprenticeships with the US Department of Labor as Environmental Specialists.
Program Details:
Duration: October 20 - November 21
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:30 AM to 2:30 PM
Location: Robert J. Mohart Multipurpose Center, 3200 Wayne Ave.
Benefits: Learn skills for 100 green jobs (building, energy, food & agriculture, transportation, waste, water), earn stipends, complete US Department of Labor Pre-apprenticeships as Environmental Specialists, and receive job placement assistance.
