Kansas City Public Works has issued an invitation to attend a community open house event to discuss proposed safety improvements (a.k.a. road diet) on Wornall Road from 63rd Street to Gregory.
WHEN: July 16, 2025 from 5:30pm to 7pm
WHERE: HJ's Youth and Community Center (6425 Wornall Road).
This section of Wornall is currently identified for a "road diet" ordinance.
The goal behind this project is to reduce crashes, and increase traffic and pedestrian safety.
This open house will provide the public with an opportunity to learn more about the proposed project and get their questions answered by Kansas City staff.
